2019 CCRE Energy Leaders Roundtable

The 2019 CCRE Annual Energy Leaders Roundtable brought together leaders in the energy industry for open dialogue, a candid exchange of views, and networking. The Roundtable built on its 7-year success by delivering several keynote addresses as well as panels introduced by brief presentations at the beginning of each session that are organized around a variety of timely and important topics.

We were pleased to have the Hon. Rod Phillips, Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, Hal Kvisle, Chairman, Finning International and ARC Resources, Michael Rencheck, President and CEO, Bruce Power, and Greg Lyle, President, Innovative Research Group, deliver keynote addresses.

The keynote addresses and presentations included the following sessions:

  • The Role of Nuclear Power and Innovation in Nuclear Energy to Secure Ontario and Canada's Low Carbon Future
  • Meeting the Long-Term, Electricity Supply Challenge
  • Role of Innovation: Balancing Climate and Energy Policy
  • CEO Perspective: Energy Sector Challenges, Technological Innovation and Response
  • Pipeline Infrastructure and 21st Century Nation Building
  • Promises, Politics, and Polls
  • Politics and the Energy Sector
